1. You ask Chad what he knows about his buddy's company, its reputation, cost, technology and track record of success.

2. Chad replies that his buddy made an automated beer bong in college once etc. etc. and so the guy is clearly a genius. His company is obviously the best; no need to do research on them.

3. ...Besides, using machine learning for hiring because it can't have the biases humans have. So, you don't have to worry about whether Chad and his employees having any biases - I mean he does seem to harbor irrational hatred for everyone with the name Taylor because of an early childhood clothing alteration incident ...and he seems to talk about it an awful lot but, hey, we're all a little weird...not like that sort of thing can show up in code...
